by Hilde Baestiaens & Sibyl Anthierens from University of Antwerp
This workshop aims to introduce some basic principles of qualitative research and assumptions underpinning the use of qualitative research methods. We will introduce how and when to use qualitative research both on its own and in mixed methods research. In this workshop we will also introduce ‘new’ strategies thinking about your research by identifying ‘the problem-gap-hook’ of your study in order to formulate a research question for qualitative research.
