How to program quantum computers? First steps in quantum machine learning

Historical perspective: the beginnings of quantum computing (now)

  • An introduction to qubits and quantum circuits
  • The era of NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum devices)
  • Quantum machine learning, case study and demo: diagnosis of breast cancer
  • The future of quantum computers

JoaquĆn Keller is cofounder of Entropica Labs, a Singapore-based startup developing quantum software for biology. Previously he lead a team in distributed computing at Orange Labs where he designed peer-to-peer systems. His initial background is in mathematical logic and theoretical computer science, studied at Paris universities (P6, P7, UVSQ).

The conference will be held in the Learning Center, starting at 6PM.
