CRIB Workshop - Oluwafemi Longe - Using the business Canvas Model to easily define your strategy

In recent year, the business model canvas has replaced the business plan as the pre-eminent way to express and plan out venture ideas. Used by all kind of organisations from startups, traditional business, NGOs, associations, churches, government agencies etc, the business model canvas is a visual way to plan your idea that is easy to update as things change. Developed at the University of Lausanne by Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur, the 9 section canvas can be completed in less than 1 hour and helps to clarify desirability, feasibility and viability of new projects and businesses.

In this workshop, Femi Longe (M2 EdTech Student & co-Founder of Co-Creation Hub, one of Africa's most successful incubator/accelerators) will introduce CRI students & faculty to the Business Model Canvas and how to use it to express our ideas. Even if you have absolutely no interest in business, this hands-on workshop will equip you with skills and a tool to quickly map out the sustainability of your current or future social impact project.
